Holiday in Roma
If you desire to read the history, please click this link. My husband David and I spend a long weekend in Rome to relax. We really enjoyed ourselves; although I can not show you all our pictures, here are few sites that we saw. The weather is comparable to what I am accustomed to being that I am an Georgian. We saw the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican City. And, we took part in a group history tour on the Roma Colosseum. We walked also 203 steps in St. Peter's Church and took pictures of a few pictures of Jesus and his disciplines. Finally, David took me to see the Jewish ghetto and synagogue.
These pictures include different parts of the Colosseum and the last picture is the gate; it was build by Romans to celebrate the crushing of the Jews when they constructed a upraise against the Romans.
These are pictures of the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's church; this is where David and I walked 203 steps.
These are pictures of us relaxing and enjoying Italian food.
Finally, this first picture is of the Jewish synagogue [Yom Kippur] and it was bombed by the Palestine Liberation Organization in the 80's; it now has a twenty-four armed guard to protect it. The final picture is of a Roman dictator, can you guess who this is and it is not Cesar or that mad Nero?
